HSNBA has seen great success with our Monthly “Meet Your Match” Waived Fee Adoption Weekends. Meet Your Match was officially launched in February 2025. Meet Your Match brings together all of our adoptable pets from foster homes and the shelter to one location for a two-day event featuring waived adoption fees and dedicated marketing. By removing financial barriers through waived fees, these events help pets find loving homes faster and frees space in our kennels and foster homes for other animals in need. Since its launch in February, nearly 200 pets have found homes during our special waived fee adoption weekends!
However, Adoption Fee Revenue accounts for 12% of our overall income and when we waive fees, it DOES affect our bottom line. Sponsoring a Meet Your Match Weekend helps us bridge that gap in revenue to help us save more lives. Sponsoring a Meet Your Match Weekend has unique advertising benefits for our sponsors. These weekends are HEAVILY marketed, being promoted to our 24,000 Facebook followers, 3,383 Instagram followers, over 30,000 email subscribers, and partnerships with local newspapers and radio stations where, if you wish, your business or name will be featured in all advertising for the month you Sponsor. We are averaging 30 extra pets finding homes during Meet Your Match Weekends and our average adoption fee is $60.
