Scrappy

Scrappy is a sweet, energetic boy who absolutely thrives in the company of both people and other dogs! He’s already mastered many of his basics and is eager to keep learning. He truly thrives with a little structure, a little guidance, and a whole lot of love!

Scrappy is a big fan of walks, exercise, and playtime, so he’d love a family who understands the importance of daily exercise and enrichment. He especially enjoys his daily strolls and would love any opportunity to show off his very impressive leash manners! He rarely pulls, unless, of course, a bird happens to be trotting along his walking trail! Even then, he takes gentle correction like a champ and gets right back into his walking mode.

Scrappy does wonderfully in our doggy playgroups and seems to match the energy of most of the dogs he’s paired with. He’s a fun-loving guy who genuinely enjoys being around his friends! When meeting new people, he may take a few moments to warm up, but once he decides you’re his person, he’ll make sure you know you’re his very best friend.

He absolutely loves interactive play with his people and will happily indulge you in a game of tag. He’s also an expert ball chaser and would gladly keep the fun going! But when playtime is over, Scrappy is just as happy to wind down beside you for cuddles and sweet little kisses. And once he’s finished covering you in puppy kisses, he’ll flop right onto his back, proudly show you his belly, and fully expect lots of tummy scratches. Consider that your official invitation!
