Patches

There’s something incredibly special about senior dogs, and sweet Patches is no exception.

We’re not exactly sure how this gentle girl found her way to us, but we do know one thing: she deserves nothing but love, comfort, and the happiest golden years imaginable.

Patches has the sweetest, most peaceful demeanor. She isn’t looking for adventure or excitement; she’s simply looking for someone to love. Her favorite place is right by your side, whether you’re relaxing on the couch, enjoying a quiet afternoon, or taking a leisurely stroll together. She’s not much for long walks, but she’ll happily amble along beside you at her own easy pace.

We believe Patches may be partially blind and deaf, so gentle, slow introductions help her feel safe and prevent her from being startled. Once she knows you’re there, her kind heart shines through.

Patches also loves a good snack, and we discovered air-dried beef liver is her absolute favorite thing on earth. Her ears and eyes may not work like they used to, but her snout is still going strong, and you’ll see a glimpse of the young dog she once was when you pull out a snack for her!

If you have a soft spot for senior dogs, Patches is waiting to show you just how much love can fit into her golden years! She’s ready to trade her cold kennel for a cozy bed, a caring family, and a home where she can simply be cherished, just as every senior dog deserves!
