Meet Bella (Chelsea)

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re looking for a new best friend… and so is Bella.

This sweet girl is the definition of well mannered. Whether she’s heading out for a walk or enjoying one on one time with her people, Bella approaches everything she does with a calm, steady confidence that’s impossible not to love.

Bella walks beautifully on a leash, knows her basic commands, and keeps her kennel tidy, giving us every reason to believe she may already be house trained. She also has a deep appreciation for a little spa day! Baths? No problem. Combing? She’s happy to sit patiently while you pamper her.

In true Husky fashion, Bella has plenty to say! Bring out a squeaky toy, and don’t be surprised if she joins in with a few cheerful “woo-woos” of her own. She also asked us to let her future family know that daily head scratches and belly rubs are non-negotiable.

When it comes to making friends, Bella shines there too. She does wonderfully in playgroups with dogs who match her play style and energy level, and she’s incredibly respectful of other dogs’ space. She has an impressive ability to read the room, knowing when it’s time to play and when it’s time to simply coexist peacefully with her canine companions.

Bella has tested positive for heartworms, but HSNBA is committed to helping her every step of the way. Unfortunately, a shelter is not an ideal place for a dog to undergo heartworm treatment, as they need a calm, quiet environment to heal. HSNBA will cover the full cost of her treatment and support her future family throughout the entire process. The only thing Bella needs is a loving home where she can rest, recover, and finally experience the comfort she deserves.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with wonderful manners, a gentle heart, and just the right amount of playful Husky charm, Bella is ready to become your newest family member.

I have tested heartworm positive. This means I have a parasite and need treatment. While my friends at HSNBA desperately want to help me, the shelter is too stressful an environment to undertake treatment and treatment itself is very expensive. The shelter has a few options to help with treatment, and if I steal your heart you should talk with them and your vet about what my treatment is like.
