Mimi is an almost 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who has been thriving in a foster home for the past few months and this time in foster care has truly allowed her personality to shine.
She does great with other dogs and would love a home with other playful dog friends to help her continue building confidence. Mimi has also done well with cats in her foster home and has been easygoing in her day-to-day interactions. She’s fully house-trained and has great manners in the home, whether her people are around or away. She’s comfortable relaxing inside, spending time in the yard, or curling up on the couch for a nap.
Mimi can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her some time to settle in, and she will become a loyal, loving companion who forms a strong bond with the people lucky enough to be around her. Once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality really comes through.
She rides well in the car, handles grooming without much fuss, and is always ready to learn and engage with new opportunities and training. She regularly joins her foster at adoption events and always does a wonderful job. She stays close, meets new people and dogs without issue, and handles busy environments like a champ
Want a cute Fun Fact about Mimi? She LOVES crunching on ice cubes
Mimi would do best in a home that gives her a little time to adjust and ideally has another dog for her to play with. Our team will help make sure that Mimi and your current dogs are a good match!
I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.
