Kitten Shower - Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area

We’re excited to announce the second annual Kitten Shower hosted by the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area at the Westside Community Center on April 12th! This family-friendly celebration at the West Side Community Center will feature Kitten Yoga, a Pie-making competition, kid-friendly games, a kitten-themed donation drive, and local vendors—all in support of our tiniest, most vulnerable rescues.

In 2024, HSNBA cared for over 2,500 cats and kittens, many of them newborns requiring specialized care. As a nonprofit organization, this event isn’t just about fun—it’s a critical fun.

Your presence and contributions make a tangible difference in the lives of the cats and kittens under our care. Together, let’s make this event a roaring success and ensure that every feline receives the love and support they deserve. We can’t wait to see you at the Kitten Shower!

THE PIE CONTEST

What better way to help HSNBA save more kittens in 2025 than a good old-fashioned pie contest? Join us during the Kitten Shower for a delicious opportunity to showcase your baking skills and raise funds to save lives!

We are asking all competitors to provide at least two premade pies to provide during the event for the pie contest. You do not need to be present at the event to participate; we will have volunteers onsite to hand out the pie.

The winner of the Kitten Shower Pie Contest will not only earn bragging rights but will also have their name (and logo, if applicable) displayed on a kennel plaque for one full year as part of our Kennel Sponsorship program!

RAFFLE ITEMS

We’re hosting a raffle during the event and need exciting items to fill our baskets! This is a great opportunity for your business to showcase products or services while supporting a great cause.

You can donate individual items to be included in a themed basket or contribute a fully curated basket. Each basket will have a minimum value of $100, giving your business great visibility
among attendees!

KITTEN YOGA

It’s time to get your sweat on with kitten yoga! Practice all of your downward dogs and cat-cow poses while navigating playful kittens trying to get in on the action. Tickets and spaces are limited, so we recommend purchasing sooner rather than later!
